Senior Estimator
Based in Cheddar
£ Competitive plus car allowance, bonus, pension

Ford Bros is an acknowledged leader in Civil Engineering, Surfacing and Property Services contracting. As part of our Surfacing and Civils Division, we are now recruiting for a Senior Estimator to help build the business.

Working as part of the Commercial team, you will be required to produce accurate and well structured estimates and to contribute to the negotiation and preparation of quotations and tenders. You will work closely with the production department to ensure projects are completed smoothly. You will build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to develop existing and new business opportunities.

You will need to have a proven track record and sound knowledge with the blacktop industry and must be a confident negotiator with strong communication skills. You will need to have experience of a wide range and value of contracts.

Heating Engineer
Based in Cheddar
£ Competitive, uniform and pool vehicle provided

Ford Bros is an acknowledged leader in Civil Engineering, Surfacing and Building and Maintenance. As part of our expansion we are now recruiting for a Heating Engineer.

We are looking for a qualified heating engineer to install, repair and service boilers primarily in domestic properties. You will also be required to price work and prepare quotations.

You must be prepared to work at a fast pace to a high standard and have good communication skills. Ideally you will be OFTEC qualified and hold your Part P qualification however training will be given. You should have relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and must possess a full driving licence. An LPG and/or ACS qualification would be an advantageous.

You will be offered a competitive salary in return along with a pool vehicle and uniform.
