Bristol B & M to star as resident experts in Cowboy Builders.

Bristol Building and Maintenance decorators Mike Cooke, Steve Duffy, plumber and carpenters Darren Vardon, Andy Bright, Ellis Riley and manager Pete Cole have been helping out during the filming of a recent episode of channel Five’s Cowboy Builders TV show.

The Ford Bros team are assisting a Thornbury family in getting their life’s back after their builder abandoned work on their home only part way through the house extension works. This has left the family living for the past 20 months in a small habitable part of the house surrounded by dust, unsafe structures and open sewers.

Melinda Messenger and the Ford Bros men with further aid from generous tradesmen, retailers and manufactures have been set the challenge of repairing the house and providing them with a dream home far beyond their present nightmare, while Dom Littlewood tracks down the errant Cowboy Builders and confronts them with evidence of their shoddy workmanship.

The Cowboys have already been paid in full for the extension work so the family have no funds left to repair their home and this has put the entire family under unimaginable stress and suffering as they try to carry on a normal home life.

The Ford Bros decorators helped Melinda add that wow factor and stretch her budget so that this deserving family can forget the financial torment and heartache from the last 20 months.

The episode will be shown towards the end of the year most likely in the Thursday 8pm slot and each episode usually attracts over 2 million viewers. Logon to www.five.tv/cowboybuilders for the latest information and keep an eye on the TV listings.
